Work order: Bring back normal range of motion. Perform gentle mobilization within a pain-free range. Stretch shortened muscles—lumbar extensors, piriformis. Improve hip mobility; stiffness there overloads the back. Avoid extreme positions and sudden movements.
Work order: Remove chronic overload sources. Learn proper lifting—hinge and squat with a neutral spine. Adjust the workstation for a neutral posture. Wear supportive shoes; high heels increase lumbar arch. Distribute weight evenly—don’t carry a bag on one shoulder.
